Pinecones

Our Pinecones room is made up of our oldest infant friends.

When your child gets more mobile, they will join our oldest infant room.  A strong emphasis on language development and social skills is encouraged and nurtured.  Sign language is continued, promoting healthy communication skills with teachers and with each other, to promote strong brain development, and to increase the child's IQ.  The language of visual arts is introduced, intended to encourage observation and focus, while developing fine motor skills.  More advanced sensory projects are applied to further encourage the development of fine and gross motor skills.  Age appropriate toys and furniture are implemented to make children feel comfortable and loved.  Our "Today We" is a photographic newsletter sent out daily so you can watch as your child grows and develops each and every day.

As the Pinecones get older and more mobile they get to go to our Activity Room for play time.  It is very exciting to see them start walking around, playing with the bigger balls, and learning how to share them with the other children in the room!
